Olympus Photo Competition

10th April 2011 is the best (and also weirdest) day that I ever had. If I went to casino that time, I might back to home as a millionaire. haha... But that time, I just went to Mall Kelapa Gading, where Olympus had an exhibition.

Me and my friend (Devina) had planned to go to MKG to take some photos for our assignments (despite of we actually wanted to have a good chit chat). So, we brought our DSLRs.

We didn't know anything about the exhibition until we suddenly met our lecturers and they told us.

Our lecturers also brought DSLRs. They wanted to join the competition too. And me and Devina... We were like okay we know it then forget it. lol. We went to where ever and took some (failed) jumping photos in the apartment nearby MKG. We didn't prepare anything. Then the thought crosses my mind... Will us join the competition? We're kinda lazy arr...

Devina: Okay. Let's go to the exhibition and see our lecturers taking photos.

(Thanks Devi, it was really nice idea.) Then we lazily went to the exhibition again and the competition had been started, our lecturers there.

Devina: So, we join or not?

I couldn't decide.

Devina: Why no join? We bring DSLR.

Okaylah... a lot of thanks to my friend for being very persuasive. We finally join the competition.

After several taking. We got nothing --" My photos were totally blur and over expose.
Then a very random man came closer and talked to me about Nikon. He was the most confidence person I met in the competition. He showed me his photos... showed to my lecturer too... super confidence. He was actually annoying. He talked a lot about Nikon and gave me some clue to grab a good photo because he knew my photos are blur. But thanks to this person, cause I got a nice shoot.

And because it was the weirdest day of my life. I won the competition. 1st PLACE! D:<
